Sony Vita Games Thread

I only hope Microsoft doesn't prevent this from happening on PS4. The deal for Vita was made before Microsoft bought Skype ...

I finished Limbo on the Vita a couple of days ago. If you haven't bought it already you most definitely should. Fantastic port of a fantastic game (which is also a real looker, and not in the usual and frankly tired "hey, those chunky pixels are kinda charming" sense), and the OLed screen with its inky blacks was practically made for it. It's cross-buy as well, so if you've already bought it for the PS3 you get it free of charge.

How is LBP for Vita ? Thinking of getting it.

DoA5+ is surprisingly fun in newbie arcade mode. Great for a few quick games. Will check Limbo out.

LBP is pretty neat at this point. The biggest issues which hampered the experience have been ironed out to a satisfactory degree now, like the god-awful loading times for user created levels. They used to be so long the system frequently went into hybernation. The small Vita userbase obviously isn't helping with the amount of user created levels, but there are some gems out there. The story mode is really well done too.
That said, if you just want a good platformer, LBP can't hold a candle to Rayman Origins.

Destiny of Spirits F2P from SCEJ / Q Entertainment was just announced for Vita. Looks like some kind of RPG / Card Trading game ... not sure what to think of it, bit underwhelming. ;)

lame ass crap, but this explains why puzzle and dragons isnt on vita I guess.

For card games, I want Metal Gear Ac!d ! :(
It's a shame it didn't sell well enough for Konami on PSP.
I can't find the PSP versions on PSN (for b/c).

They need to remarket Eye of Judgment too.

There are some bigger games passing by at E3 for Vita that nobody is paying attention to though. The new Batman Arkham for instance (though it doesn't look as good as the previous titles), was briefly shown also as a Vita title, I think.

And yeah, Vita Killzone gives me a nice, warm feeling!

@patsu: I loved LBP's single player. There's one level in there that's better than any in LBP before it. Also there are no really frustrating bits in there. Bit short perhaps, but there are some really great user levels now too.

That KZ looking great. :D

Kind of dissapointed with the treatment Vita recieved during E3, it didn't seem that important to Sony.

I think that Arkham game looks amazing. It's just a very different game. It's a side-scroller with a Metroid structure made by the guys responsible for Metroid Prime (aka best game ever made)
A straight Arkham Asylum / Arkham City-style game probably would've looked rather bad, so I'm glad they did something different with it.

Oh, I didn't see it was different. I was referring to the console version of Arkham, which by what I'm hearing isn't up to the previous games (and a different developer?).

Side scroller is definitely a-ok for Vita.
