Here nice transition from sunny weather to rain:
He compares it to the highest end PC headsets here including the Varjo Aero and as a total package he says PSVR2 comes out on on top.
He even sain in Kayak vr he prefered vs Aero (2k $ headset) even tough aero has higher res he prefer oled colors. Wouldnt expect this type of hype from person who tested highest end vr.Not sure if this has been posted yet but I watch this guy a fair bit on the PC side and he really knows his stuff.

Fair play to Sony, they've created something amazing here, and at this price it's just insane. If this had PC compatibility I'd already have it on order. Hell, I'm half tempted to get a PS5 just for this but the total outlay is just a little too much at the moment.

He’s a regular on PSVR Without Parole who received a review unit (from Sony UK) whereas Without Parole’s owner, Bryan, was blacklisted or at least shut out (by Sony US or maybe ultimately Japan). Really weird to blacklist one of your biggest proponents. Water under the bridge as it’s basically release day, but weird.
Parole leaked psvr2 specs months before official news so… :dHe’s a regular on PSVR Without Parole who received a review unit (from Sony UK) whereas Without Parole’s owner, Bryan, was blacklisted or at least shut out (by Sony US or maybe ultimately Japan). I’m surprised by how many YT reviewers are getting wheels to play GT7, at least as a proportion of the handful I watch. You don’t see anyone taping their Senses to a paddle (or at least two spatulas) for Kayak.
There is no single type of lenses with all pros, there wil be always pro and cones at least for now, interesting response in comment:PSVR 2 Specs & Technical Analysis: Displays, Lenses, Reprojection, And More
PlayStation VR2 ships today. Here’s our technical analysis of it as VR hardware. PSVR 2 offers major upgrades over the original 2016 product. PSVR 1 required an array of cables connected to a breakout box and a PlayStation Camera, while PSVR 2 connects via a single USB-C cable anduploadvr.com
They seem disappointed with some aspects of the headset.
Yep - I just got my PSVR2 and I own quest pro AND the steam index. Which are both amazing.
I just want to say right now that this reviewer is being overly critical, I find the edge clarity excellent and overall picture quality in the OLED screen to be better than either of those two headsets - HDR in OLED makes that much difference, that it makes me wonder if we are making a mistake with LCD and pancake.
Same. When our OG PSVR arrived on launch day in 2016, my other half opened the box intending to set it up before I got home. She saw the breakout box and mess of cables and noped out. I suspect when I come home this afternoon, she'll be kayaking around the antarctic or crashing cars in GT7.Damn i still have to work all day before getting my hands on it
