I finished Shenmue 2 today. The game didnt age well. Although it does some impressive things technically for it's time, it's gameplay felt like sitting in the middle between a 32 bit and a next gen game (of its time).
Controls were still kind of sluggish, real gameplay was scarce and can't say it was very enjoyable. Dialogues and acting werent good. The writing was mediocre. Although it was better than 1, it still gives me vibes of The Order 1886. Awesome graphics for it's time, awesome concept, a very promising plot, but too scripted and limiting gameplay and some bad game design shoved in some sections.
