What would the world be like without him? :devilish:

Reminds me of some slide that was going around the beginning of April which also mentioned the same name and which also made it's way to many websites.

Oh wait, I made that slide.

I'm beginning to wonder if R600 really is 65nm. I can't think of any other logical reason why it might get pushed to next year. Yes, I know someone upstream suggested as much --but I'm coming around to considering it now.

Tho having said that, there are indications from ATI that isn't true, that R600 will be 80nm and the rest of the family 65nm, then the R600 refresh (R650?) would be 65nm.

This would be much more in line with previous ATI actions.

Edit: But volume may not yet be high enough on 65nm for the lower-end parts.

if that so, RV570 will conquer G71.:p

Actually, that bug-eyed icon meant "Why, Lord? Why does Inq insist on torturing me so with goofy tech foulups of the most basic kind?" (which they practically have to be for me to catch them anyway)

L'Inq appear to have what seems like a legit RV570 reference board shot, with the dual Crossfire connectors being consistant with the previous VR-Zone spyshots.

Break out the PS/PSP tools and figure out that die size. . .
