Intel G965 to support SM4.0?

I was hoping for them to surpass Xpress 1150 performance, but probably not it seems. Though, considering they're delaying availability for a respin, I'd defer judgement until information on the new revision (retail product) is available.
express1150 is a x300, which is a 9600proish, which can run vista...I think there is noway you will see a sm4 part from Intell till 2009...

Half a X300. The Xpress 1100 is basically Xpress 200 (for AMD) + DDR2 support, and the 1150 is the 1100 with the GPU clocked 100MHz faster (300 vs. 400MHz).

The PCI-Express x16 equivalent to 9600 Pro (AGP8x) is the X600, not X300 (a heavily castrated X600).

So, if 1150 is already cut-down from it, it has even worse performance with shared memory (SM 2.0 is still kept there for Vista AERO Glass).
In that instance alone (no 3D games) is just fine for what's intended (desktop, with added "bling-bling").
