Roll Call: Call of Duty 4 MW2

Depends how much you liked MW1. If you considered it good enough to play "loads" then getting 18 new maps, new game modes, new perks and loadouts, plus 23 coop missions that is a lot of new content if you liked the core concept.

I see people going ga-ga over inferior online experiences because they are "new" but quickly realize they are broken and shallow and the community, small to begin with, dies quickly. MW2 has a huge community and will thrive for years.

Anyone who thinks MW is fun and isn't sick of it should adapt quickly. If you are sick the MW experience and/or don't find it fun enough to play "loads" then stay far away.

No one can know your individual tastes. The general consesus is that yes, it is one of the best games of 2009.

Anyhow, you have a lot of activity in a thread about a Roll Call for people with a game looking to play with each other online!! There is an entire thread dedicated to discussing CoD MW2 gameplay, SP/Coop/MP. Get the game so we can shoot your already! I am sure Ostepop can teach you the ropes

Kind of shy, very quiet even, but yes you should be nice to Tap In--how many hot chicks will play CoD with you and beat you?

However, the value I find in games is in their original SP and the MP is the extra - because why would I buy MW2 online, when I have MW1 online? Is it REALLY that much better? Is it really worth £40 off the bat?

MW2 is much better than MW1. Its more like MW^2

If you enjoyed CoD4 a lot, then MW2 should be an instant buy. Waaaay more stuff than CoD4 had, (more maps, coop stuff, much more interesting multiplayer aspects) they basically took CoD4, improved everything that could be improved, and added a ton of shit.

I'm not all that good, I think I got a K/D ratio of 0.53 but someone has to be down there too, otherwise you others could never have >2 in K/D ratio.
I'm currently at lvl26 I think and I prefer to play Hardcore Team dethmatch but other games are fine as well.

It's actually quite funny that you mention that - because on my friends list of about 30 people who own and play MW2, only two have a positive KDR. I'm at 1.30 and rising and then there's well, Ostepop. The rest is all at 0.70 and below. The record holder is a mate of a mate who has a KDR of 0.05. MW2 being his first console FPS, I can't blame him though. ;-) I think he killed 2 people and died 50+ times...

Sounds like me I played with some of the guys here and was horrifically bad at it, but still had fun.

Yeah, that would be fun. I hope the new patch solves some of the partying issues with the game though. As I just wrote in the other MW2 thread, it's highly annoying when you want to play with friends and get thrown out of games or parties frequently.

It would be great to have you play too. We had a few good games in KZ2! :smile:

PS3 users should definately log on to the B3d chatroom to coordinate things when we're online... I'll try to make sure to log on when I'm playing too....
