Depends how much you liked MW1. If you considered it good enough to play "loads" then getting 18 new maps, new game modes, new perks and loadouts, plus 23 coop missions that is a lot of new content if you liked the core concept.
I see people going ga-ga over inferior online experiences because they are "new" but quickly realize they are broken and shallow and the community, small to begin with, dies quickly. MW2 has a huge community and will thrive for years.
Anyone who thinks MW is fun and isn't sick of it should adapt quickly. If you are sick the MW experience and/or don't find it fun enough to play "loads" then stay far away.
