They indicated that the two versions are completely silo'd, as in Crystal Dynamics on Xbox One, another on the 360 port.Tomb Raider in snow...just like Far Cry 4 went to mountains.
Shame they are releasing on 360 too. Automatic graphics cap.
Oh I didn't know this thread was cleaned up, I wanted to avoid re-using it since it seemed like a mixture of Remastered version + parity anger, but thanks. Yes this works out a lot better now.If you don't like how the cleanup is done, don't make a mess in the first place. You're grown humans. Use some intelligence first.
I've seen the pictures elsewhere and it looks gorgeous to me taking into account the game is an open world game -somewhat, stages are three times bigger than in the previous game on average-.New article from game informer- or at least the print edition will have a full scoop.
There appears to be a screen shot of the game in there too. Not sure if that's in game or not the article doesn't mention it. But it does look in-engine to me. I don't think it can pass as CG. If at the least I think it's using in game assets. More news on this game tomorrow Feb 4.

Game Informer Leaked - gonna try to save these for b3d use incase it goes down and requested later. Here's a shot, rest are in the link.
edit: I removed the leaked publication link for now. If you need it you can google it. Otherwise it would be with game informer.
I am really looking forward to this game...I hope it is basically like the first game, just a new setting and story.

Wouldn't hold my breath. MS is actually publishing now, not Square, so while possible, there is still no clear path for that to happen.I am READY ! 2016 for us poor PS4 peasants ?

Technically the 2013 reboot was open world in that you could, for the most part, revisit past areas with new abilities and explore parts of the areas you couldn't get to before. But the design of the topography, which I guess is designed with a view to funnelling you this way then that way as you progress through the game, meant it doesn't feel open world in the way that GTA or Far Cry is because you often couldn't go from A to F, you have to go via B, C, D and E.Is this a open world based game - now? Admittedly, I haven't played TR since the 90's. :/
