Rise of the Tomb Raider [XO, XOX, X360, PS4, P4Pro]

Not all edges seem to receive the same level of AA. Looking at this pic more closely, there is an obviously aliased edge along the top of her hood, but it's hard to find aliased edges on her sleeves. http://www.pcgames.de/screenshots/o...Raider_February_04-games-aktuell-pc-games.jpg

Pretty easy to find aliasing in this image as well. Water tower and many of the buildings and power lines in the distance. The quality of this image looks considerably different from some of the others. http://www.pcgames.de/screenshots/o...Raider_February_07-games-aktuell-pc-games.jpg

The second shot there has a bunch of non-native edges in the horizontal res. Not entirely clear if it's the transparencies (depth discontinuity/lower res depth) behind them or if it's actually non-native (high possibility considering...).

Dual-wielding climbing axes eh... wonder if lara learns some martial arts to take advantage of that for close-combat.

And.... Not that they'll do it, but I just had the idea of upgrading those to something like tonfas (ala Ninja Gaiden II). Not sure if that'd be better for climbing though, single spike vs entire length of spikes, though I was thinking the orientation of the handle would be less stress on the hand grip (climbing like you're crawling horizontally). It'd also be something like when Bruce and Ra's were sliding down the mountain in Batman Begins, and Bruce uses his forearm guard spikes to stop from falling off.

Maybe that's too hardcore for Lara. Giant spikes on her forearm for climbing/melee while dual wielding desert eagles. ahem.

I'm not aware of any martial art that is known to be particularly effective against 10ft bears :nope:

In mother Russia, one man defeated them with his bear (sorry, bare) hands.

It definitely looks native on most pics I have seen, with some AA (not sure which one yet).

By the look at it I would say it's running on a real XB1 hardware, which is encouraging for the final product.

But what the hell, again that grain filter?
