Looks pretty nice but as usual I suspect PC version may be making him look a little better.

The first screenshot looks really great. The one on the right, however, has some ultra low-rez textures on those handrails.
The Mutant Bash TV Rage game for the Iphone/pod/Pad is out today at 99 cents. Its an on rail shooter set in the same world as Rage.
Has anyone checked it out? It isn't up on the Indian App store yet. How does the engine perform on the Iphone? How's the gfx?
I think by rpicing a high quality shooter at just 99 cents, they are really making the market murky for Indie Devs. People will start expecting bigger and better polished games for 99 cents now. The Big Fishes should not disbalance the market like this, and should stick to some pricing ethics. it becomes difficult for Indie devs to comepete with such a drastic reduce in price. usually a shooter like COD:WAW Zombies or Avatar game etc, are priced at $10 on launch in the app store, and then the price gradually fals over the months to $7, then $5 and so on. By making it available at just 99 cents, they are really messing up things for everybody !
No, competition is good - and plus this isn't a console environment, the games that sell a billion copies are quite simple 2D titles like Doodle Jump, Flight Control et al. I don't think some of the more technically impressive titles like GTA Chinatown Wars, Doom Resurrection, and the 3D FPS sell that well.
Would you rather sell 100k at $10 or 1million at $1?? In a digital model, it's surely the latter.
