I have mixed feelings about rage. I explore all these fantastic areas that are just gushing with originality and design but the experience is always jarred by the asset quality.
I'd rather play the STALKER series again, frankly. I didn't think RAGE's gameplay or mapping was all that interesting. It's deceptively linear and underdeveloped.
