Well, all I'm saying is that most of the PS2's great exclusives of the past are now available on Xbox and in some cases enhanced (GTA3).
What I find funny is that people can't just admit that Halo, PGR, Amped, Top Spin, Crimson Skies, JSRF, Sega GT, Panzer Dragoon Orta, KOTOR, and so on... are great games. ie. That the Xbox has nice exclusives too.
I'm also just pointing out that the PS2 is starting to lose some steam in the exclusives department. You have to admit that Jak II and SOCOM II aren't really much compared to previous PS2 holiday lineups, whereas the Xbox has a more substantial new lineup.
As for 90%+ rated exlusives (rounded to the nearest percentage point):
Xbox (6): Halo, KOTOR, PDO, WSB2K3, Crimson Skies, Top Spin
PS2 (10): R&C:GC, GT3, SOCOM II, PES2, VF4:Evo, PES, DMC, VF4, FFX, ICO
Cube(6): MP, Zelda, VJ, SMS, SSBM, F-Zero GX
When you actually look at the years the period from Nov 2001 onwards when they were all in the marketplace, the PS2 sinks to 6 titles just like Xbox and Cube.
I guess in the end I'd just say that statistically reviewers consider the three platforms top exclusives to be very comparable. Then it just boils down to tastes.
Upcoming: Mario Kart, Twin Snakes, GT4, MGS3, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden, PGR 2, and RSC 2 all look to be shaping up nicely.
It'll be interesting (as a gamer) to see which platform actually ends with the highest rated games. Obviously, consumers will pick the PS2 because of great Sony branding, but this wasn't intended to be sales thread anyway.
