Mercs 2 is a sure bet on 360 I'd say. Wardevil maybe not so much.

Wardevil seems PS3 only.

A recent photo op from Pandemic showed a ton picks and every single one had a 360 item in it with some message about don't worry.

It'd be hard to argue that list being anything other than damn awesome.

The thing is... You look at the individual titles, and 75%+ are easily worth getting excited over. There just seems to be a dire lack of filler... And it's great :) My wallet, it screams...

In Q1 there are 5 titles I'd buy, Q2 there are 9 (!), Q3 only 2 and Q4 8 - not counting the unknowns.
I think the 360 attach rate is just going to keep going up.. I can only buy so many though... Thats 24 titles right there

Just imagine.. A console with a 15+ attach rate

Some pretty nifty titles for 2007 :D . Some are not worth my $60 though, so I guess ill just rent them via GameFly  .

On another note: is there a release list for PS3/Wii/PC aswell? (if anyone knows any)

Looking at that 2007 list there's at least 18 or so games I would definately be looking at buying... there's a couple that may fall short and as such I wouldn't end up buying but equally there's a couple I'm not currently looking at which might suprise.

I don't think there have ever been 10 games I would consider worthy of buying in a year, let alone 18... It's certainly a massive contrast to last year for the 360 where I bought the grand total of 5 games, two of which were within a week of each other (GoW and RB6: Vegas).

I think FM2 and PGR4 in ths same year sucks... rather FM2 go head to head with GT5... really... theres no rush at this point.

Hell of year... interestingly enough I will probably forgo many of teh blockbuster titles for other titles that interest me more... like I may skip bioshock because blue dragon and mass effect are being released. By the time Im done with those (and maybe a little Sega Rally) itll be Q3...

I'm picky, so these will be my definite Q1 purchases:

Crackdown
Guitar Hero II
Lost Planet

It looks like the X360 will have at least one AAA title every month from here on out.

May I ask who Andrew Harkwood is?

That is an amazing list BTW. My Q1 picks:

Culdcept Saga
Guitar Hero II
Lost Planet
Shadowrun
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
Winning Eleven 10

excellent post rockster! it looks like 2007 is going to be a hell of a year for gamers

here is little personal my wish list in no particular order:

Lost Planet
Bioshock
Blue Dragon
Winning Eleven 10
Forza Motorsport 2
Mass Effect
Virtua Fighter 5
Halo 3
Lost Odyssey
Project Gotham Racing 4
Too Human
Alan Wake
Cry-On
Infinite Discovery
Fable 2
Halo Wars
Resident Evil 5

2007 will be brilliant for 360.
These are day 1 purchase for me:
Halo 3
Assassin's Creed
Bioshock
Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway
Mass Effect
Guitar Hero 2

But I'll end up buying much more, but I'll wait for reviews first.

Looking at that launch list, it just screams to good to be true. And you know what they say about that. Are these all confirmed...

WITH that being said, there are still a TON of amazing, confirmed games on there. And to see them all put into a list, instead of piecing it together, is just stunning.

Like Many said I could easily see myself wanting on avg at least 3 games per quarter. If that works out to be the case, that will be the most games I bought for all my consoles combined for all my years of gaming on them.

Impressive list indeed.

These type of lists always tend to look impressive in the abstract, then never pan out.

There's basically only two big 360 games coming up in the short term, Lost Planet Jan 12 and Crackdown Feb 20. The rest is speculation.

To be fair, that already looks much better than last spring for 360.

For example, 1st Q, Army of Two and GRAW 2 seem unlikely. GRAW 2 I suppose is possible if they pull a COD3 type thing.

2nd Q: Mass Effect is such an ambitious game it will be lucky to make Q4. Bioshock I also doubt. I would doubt Forza 2 as well. It was in like a 10% complete stage at X06. How many games these days are done in under a year?

Would be interesting to see the OP edited with titles currently exclusive (console exclusive would be fine). Whats the deal with Elveon and Offset, were they 360 only or multi?

Don't know who Andrew is, I simply didn't want to take credit for something I didn't create. The list is among the most accurate I have seen.

To be sure. But it provides the best look we have at the software lineup currently planned. Things will slip or get canceled, and likely be balanced by new content added and revealed. There was an interesting thread the other day about changing perceptions, and this list help to put the 360 in perspective for me wrt some of it's early comparisons to Dreamcast. Comparing their software lineups, it's hard to fathom the 360 enduring the same fate. Obviously this list ignores potentially compelling Arcade, XNA, and marketplace content.

Thanks for the list. Note to self, buy the following games

Quarter 1 of 2007
Crackdown
Lost Planet
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2

Quarter 2 of 2007
Bioshock
Blue Dragon
The Darkness
Forza Motorsport 2

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway
Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars
Indiana Jones 2007

Quarter 4 of 2007
Assassin’s Creed
Banjo-Kazooie
Halo 3
Lost Odyssey
Too Human

Oh my. There is no way I can keep up with this list. Granted, some of those games might turn out to be less than expected, but even then it's still a really big list of games.

Is there really another Crimson Skies rumored?!
