Phew, am I lucky I live in Belgium, we get the UK version, with Dutch/French manuals. :)

Question for maskrider.

Just noticed the insane stats for the characters in your SH2 gallery. Now, are there some cheat codes or anything you can share? :p Cause I don't think I can play around long enough to unlock all the grade 3 fusions.

I have 5-6 sets of codes for SH2 on Action Replay 2, some for stats, some for detailed items control, some more scores, some for accessories, armor and weapons. Some for locking Soul Energy or Max it out.

What do you want ? Text files of the codes ?

Locking Soul Energy is already good enough for raising levels of the Fusions, but you need to have Amon and then souldrops to unleash the max levels.

BTW, where are you now in the game ?

I finished it more than 4 times already, and I have created a page with many translations and solutions to the quests, acquisitions of the special items, ...

Check it out if you are interested, but be warned that there are spoilers and the page is rather long and big (with a lot of the Japanese characters presented in GIF than text for people without Japanese support).

Ooo... so the AR2 can be used with a Jap PS2 with PSBB installed? I hesitated getting one because I was worried about that. And it can be used to play other region DVDs? Where are the codes available from? Codejunkies? I didn't know they provide codes for Jap games - that was another reason why I hesitated getting one.

I'm currently at the "IdaruFrame" - the city Rasputin raised after his defeat by Amon. Really good place to level up.

My Japanese AR2 works fine with my 37000L with BB Unit (and BB Navigator 0.3 installed), I got my codes from various Japanese codes sites. Codejunkies doesn't cut it for codes on Japanese games.

Not sure about DVD playback as I don't play DVDs on PS2, even if I play DVDs, most of my DVDs are Japanese region 2 DVDs, so no problem playing on my Japanese PS2.

One of the sites is "Be Natural", here is a direct link to PS2 codes

BTW, that place is called "Idar Flamme".

Finally finished SH2. Excellent game. Except I still don't like the design decision to hide so many side-quests in such obscure ways. I know they are meant to reward the thorough gamer, but I did fork out $$$ for your product da**it.

With the announcement that Midway will be bringing this title stateside(Europe-side?), I can't help but wonder what they will do with the voice acting. There may not be as many voice-scenes as FFX or Xeno Ep1, but there's still a lot of them. Nealy as much, maybe. Midway can spend money on voice-actors who may or may not do a good job, or just retain the voices as they are. Personally I hope they choose the latter option. It speeds up localization and reduces cost.

But there's a more important reason - the most important reason.

The voice-acting for a particular "pervert wrestler" and his "pervert wrestler instructor" is simply too precious. And you won't miss out on anything even if you only have the subtitles to follow - it is really that good.

If ever Midway retains the voice-acting, our wrestler and his instructor can well become "top favorite characters of all time". Serious. :D

There are at least 161 voiced cut-scenes. And the game is now called Shadow Hearts : Convenant, only US release was available and should be around Sep 2004.

And BTW, that guy is not a pervert wrestler, he is indeed a vampire. And he is an apprentice of the Indian pro-wrestler, Gran Gama.

Make that a "pervert vampire wrestler" then. :D
Hey, that's just what his character bios says. Of course we both know "hentai" does not mean "sexual perversion"(and not cartoon porn really, for the information of the curious), and I was certainly not refering to that.
