Broken Tesselation??

Broken Tesselation??
There were also rumors it would be launching at $499. If that is true, it's sort of is that bad.So the Unigine benches look legit, which brings us to that rumor of a while back, concerning the GTX 470's price of $299. If it is true, then it's not that bad, although from a performance perspective, it seems to be poised for disappointment (still waiting for actual game benches with proper drivers to confirm that).
Looks correct to me. The texture map is simply being stretched. You can clearly see the stretch marks on the big stone blocks, and the tiles have the same stretchy thing going on.
Jawed
TSMC has suffered about a day and a half worth of production delays due to the quake in its Tainan based fabs, but TSMC’s largest facilities are based in Hsinchu and didn’t suffer any real damage.

Just because it doesn't make sense doesn't make it true, never apply logic to marketing people.Which appeared before any legit performance numbers. Right now, those "rumors" make no sense...
If you have been waiting for Fermi, Geforce GTX 480 and GTX 470 and you really want to spend some 600€ / $600 for a high end graphics card, you better be ready to buy it on March 26th.
Despite the fact that Nvidia will have a massive volume launch with thousands of cards available in Europe and USA, they might easily sell out in matter of hours.
People close to Nvidia believe Fermi cards will sell like hot cakes and that there will be huge demand for them as soon as they launch. The reason is quite obvious a single GPU Geforce GTX 480 will end up faster than any Radeon HD 5870 card and in some new games, the advantage will be significant. In some games Radeon might end up faster or very close, but in the big picture Nvidia’s big chip is going to win.
The GF100 render output is correct. Here is the same scene, rendered on my 5870:Isnt there something wrong with those screens? I mean, in some places there does not seem to be tesselation. For example, the chimney in the bottom right corner. Its not really round, is it? Its same like round objects everywhere else, with lines.
Serious or sarcastic? I'm having an argument with someone:

Whats your point there? That screen is from a Radeon 4870...
