I agree. McDonald sell more burgers than just about anyone in the world but I doubt anyone here would call them some of the best burgers ever produced.

But, GTA, Halo and MW2 aren't McDonald's hamburgers and the reason those titles show such high level of sales is due the ability of those series as a whole to produce quality titles over time.

Halo isnt exactly a first class stake either though. It is like a McDonalds Hamburger served in a better plate at a restaurant and some special sauce instead of ketchup.

I'm not much of a Halo fan, but I'd argue Halo would be more like a restaurant hamburger with the works. Or to get away from the hamburger references, a good tender and tasty steak. Maybe not Kobe beef, but not far off.

And all this proves is. One man's pot of gold is another man's toilet. And in the case of Halo, it just happens to be well over 10 million people's pot of gold.

Sure for any game you don't like. Or I don't like. I guess I could plaster the word overrated over MGS4, God of War, Gears of War, Final Fantasy, etc...

Every single game ever released is overrated to someone in the world.
