Either EEDAR or Pachter had guessed that Wii would be > 360+ PS3.

Also impressed that Fifa actually charted.

Borderlands PS3 seems like it's way lower, relatively. Competition with Uncharted?

nothing too suprising, forza3 seems to low though, it done worse than forza 2 (when its console base was 1/3)!

next month I expect the order to be back to the usual NPD order wii->xbox360->ps3

I'm really surprised Sony didn't announce a bundle for North America, but they did pretty much everywhere else. This will certainly hurt them in North America with the 360 CoD MW2 bundle and all. They will definitely do well outside of NA though.

I think next month will be pretty close between the PS3 and 360 due to that $100 GC promotion and the CoD MW2 bundle.

They're doing every well regardless. I doubt the CoD MW2 bundle is actually a big deal. The people who are OMFGexcited for CoD MW2 already own a 360 since they likely played CoD4...unless it just got banned. :)
 
It's shocking to see that Halo 3 has managed to sell 50% as much as Uncharted 2, that's also more than 1:1 ratio with X360 hardware sales... I guess it must be the effect of ODST and it's media campaign? (I also wonder about KZ2's sales compared to H3).

Anyway, UC2 deserves a lot more than that... :(
 
It deserved more than that, but still good numbers IMO. Plus the demographics for the 360 and PS3 are quite different, especially in the US. 360 owners in the US are more likely to buy a Halo game than PS3 owners are to buy Uncharted 2. Halo is THE biggest game for MS and the 360 whereas Uncharted is relatively new. A better comparison would be GT5 vs Halo as they are the biggest exclusives for their respective consoles.

Definitive or not, one can't really ask more from a game then what UC2 offers, it's technical and artistic execution is almost flawless, it's a good game, it has fun multiplayer... it should have sold way better then that.
 
Nice to see UC2 getting some reward for being a stellar game. But all numbers seem rather low for this being the first month of the Holiday shopping season. That said...

Nice to see PS3 keeping momentum. Having a HUGELY advertised (I think I see 2 UC2 commercials every 30 mins on TV) and critically acclaimed title definitely doesn't hurt. :)

ODST was lower than I expected.

Borderlands (X360) was way higher than I expected, but again it's also having the crap advertised out of it on TV, although not as much as UC2. However, where is PS3? Speaking of which...

X360 - 5 titles in the top 10. PS3 - 2 Titles. Wii - 2 titles. NDS - 1 title. X360 still seems to be dominating software sales. Wii seems to be struggling on the software side, at least with AAA titles.

Borderlands on PS3, that one still shocks me. You could say UC2 stole some of it's sales, but then you could say the same about Borderlands on X360 with competition from both Halo: ODST and Forza Motorsport 3.

Oh and last but not least awesome to see a Soccer (Football for you Euros ;)), game hanging on in the top 10 of the US charts. Even more amazing that FIFA outsold Madden NFL.

Will we see it chart again? How much of interest in it will be snared up by MW2?

What's up next month? MW2, AC, NSMB:Wii? Probably all 5 will chart. If Wii can keep this demand, I'd expect Wii Fit Plus and WSR too.

Kind of. Other big games sell 1 mil+ in same time span. A shame UC franchise has not reached same status with PS3 like Halo has with 360. But I'm sure UC2 will have legs and will be bundled with PS3s like the first game that went on to sell 2mil+.

Hopefully Sony will have UC2 bundles in North America, every PS3 owner should have this game.

uc2 is a good game and it should have done better. If i was employed i'd would have bought it but with COD4 and boarder lands for multiplayer mayham and dragon age for single player I couldn't justify anymore unemployment going to video games.

I will prob pick it up when its 30 bucks
