That might be hard, as part of the screening process for ATI, you have to listen to 6 hours of Sabbath and all their offshoots before being admitted into the interviewing room. If you can't quote all the lyrics and the bars, you are walked out the door.

It is great to note that none of the known ATI engineers actively participate in spreading FUD against any other vendor.

Then again, with all the high volume of FUD being spread by the likes of Doomtrooper, Joe DeFuria, et al, it probably can slide under the radar.

Doomtrooper is a tech junkie -with toys to boot, lucky bastard- with a bit of evangalist, he likes his toys and sometimes he likes them a little TOO much. But heh, in his position I think we'd all have simillar tendencies to varying degrees.

Joe DeFuria, when the heck did he spread FUD? Joe all over competition is king for the consumer. Why would he spread FUD to make only one side look good or one side look bad?

OpenGL Guy, when was it wrong to be proud of what you do and who you work for? In my mind he's mostly really defended ATI and brought to light their good qualities. Wouldn't you and most other people do the same?

It seems to me your post is all about creating unecessary tension within our forum community, I ask that you withdraw it and stop from posting such things again. Lets keep the arguements at around technical matters rather than making ad hominem attacks.

Username if you are making such an accusation about these people, (I do respect the fact that you went ahead and named them), then you should also provide proof to support the said accusation.

Otherwise please do not bother responding to any of my posts with so little thought given due to the fact that you tarnished the names of Joe DeFuria, Doomtrooper and especially OpenGL Guy. And yea, I would equally defend alexsok and Chalnoth 'et al' if the issue was reversed.

There is nothing to retract or apologize for. Although its unlikely, hopefully this will be an opportunity for people to take a look at the state of things on this board when Doomtrooper is referred to as "proud fan but the way I see it he many times is only overreacting to someone post.", and DemoCoder is accused of being biased and a fanboy.

If OpenGL Guy's comments in regards to anything about Nvidia arent clear fud (and this would take a few minutes to read through his post list), they are at best in very poor taste considering he is a representative of a competing company to the one he's commenting about. I can only imagine if any Nvidia employee had made similar comments (fortunately, they all seem to actually have work to do).

Please, when it becomes not only openly acceptable, but the encouraged practice to call the NV30 "vaporware", a label that is clearly FUD then things have degenerated quite a bit.

Ahhh yes the whiners are here because this no longer is another Nvidia Rockzorz forum...there is actual ATI people here to help balance some of the endless trash that flows from certain individuals...

Opengl guy has not spread ANY FUD here...be kind to point something out weasel hinding behind the lame name.
