Maybe I should wander round the corner to OpenGL guy's cube and "vote" with a baseball bat...
I can handle the bat, just keep those chicken wings away from me!

Would people still vote for you if they knew that hot spicy chicken wings make you cry?

After 16th september you might wanna add me to the list (hopefully being able to compete on the votes with OpenGL guy ;)) as I'll begin my examination work at ATi that date.

Are you coming to US or Canada? If so what site will you work at?

That's great, Humus!

Don't take my comments in this thread seriously (except for the one about the chicken wings!). I was just giving some people here a hard time :)

Humus is from Sweden. He can teach you about winters I suppose ;-)
But I guess he can use your tips about beer. I heard its very hard to get good beer in Sweden.

Its very hard to get ANY drink in Sweden, at least up North. In Umea, there 2 stores that sell liquor, and they are open 5 hours a day. And beer... don't get me started on Falcon, bleh. Once in a while, we would take a ferry to Vaasa and back on a "Wet trip"

I feel for ya Humus, leaving the Sweedish bikini team  for Canada??
CONGRADULATIONS Humus, hope to see your name still around the more interesting forums like here and your home town Rage3d.

I can picture it now. 5 years in the future. ATI has become a monopolistic power in 3D, and nVidia has closed shop. Industry analysts try to figure out why such the dramatic and quick turn-around. All they really know is things started to go bad for nVidia around the R300 launch. "ATI just had better products"....that must be it.

We at B3D, of course, while in the middle of debating the merits of a 1024 bit bus vs. deferred rendering of the rumored PowerVR Series 4, will immediately recognize the "time around the R300 launch" was not coincidentally the same period of time where nVidia passed on Humus, and ATI scooped him up....

All good things happen for a reason. Aren't you glad Nvidia didn't hire you now? Congratulations man. Ati is getting a hell of an asset.

Good to see all of you Ati guys here. Which one of you is gonna sneak a 9700 out the back door for me? I've got a donut. It's a jelly. (strange brew, one of the funniest movies of all time)

Western Canada holds the record though..very high wind chills make it feel like -80°C..

Ahem to that. Coming from England the whole 'your nosrils freeze solid in three seconds' experience is still taking some getting used too!!
