 It means "quoted for truth". Means he agrees with you. A lot.

Yeah, it means you 100% agree and could not say it better. Of course I would never say "looks **** good" (besides, 3 word post? pfffft!!), so I had to quote someone who did ;)

Anyhow, it is NOT an insult man. It is a compliment. I usually avoid the IM lingo, but QFT seems to fit really well if someone has said something that is profound. "looks **** good" is the most profound thing I have read in a while

I hope Dave's next GPU review starts with, "looks **** good". hahaha "7800 Ultra... looks **** good". Yeah, I could see Dave saying that... not!

    Huh?
He said QFT, which means "Quoted For Truth". That's the remark.
It's a way of saying what you said is true, so he quoted it (don't see the point, but it's one of those geeky internet forum things).

LOL! To you maybe, but for serious people like Acert and... not me, it means quoted for truth.

Besides, did you read his post? it was like a love song for PGR3. So in context, he was agreeing with you, the game looks great. In that circumstances, you should have understood what he meant.

Gee Qroach, today u're more aggressive than usual. Chill man it's all good.

If your trolling I am trolling to because I have been geeked out all thread on the new footage ;) I am not sure why in context I would be telling you to stop trolling. Heck, if I was gonna say it like that I would not be starting with you  Serisouly, we may disagree at times (and not at others) but I am not calling you a troll! I am agreeing!

/me seems to get under the skin of everyone

    QFT

Anyway, I really do think it looks fantastic in that video - the immersion looks incredible, though personally I'd rather have a few details take a backseat for the framerate, but I suppose it's clear where I'm coming from. I must say, I like the camera position and it does look quite realistic - IMO, Bizarre should ditch the racing courses and go Need for Speed route (the first part - all other Need for Speeds at shitty courses) - it's so much more fun racing on normal roads than it is on ultra wide roads. Personally, this would put PGR3 above any Need for Speed I've ever played and that's quite a compliment.

I swear, Polyphony better do something similar with the camera / interior or I might really have to get look around for alternatives.

That camera view + that immersion + 60 fps + Need for Speed 1 courses + Traffic + Full simulation of cars, tracks == Killer IMO.

One word came to me when looking at those videos: LUSH.

EDIT: Before i get 192 private messages from people who don't know what that means, thinking it's a bad word, this is the definition of lush:

    adjective
1 exuberant, lush, luxuriant, profuse, riotous
produced or growing in extreme abundance; "their riotous blooming"
    2 lush, succulent
full of juice; "lush fruits"; "succulent roast beef"; "succulent plants with thick fleshy leaves"
3 lavish, lucullan, lush, plush, plushy
characterized by extravagance and profusion; "a lavish buffet"; "a lucullan feast"

Really nice. A few odd things (e.g. in the car fly by at 52sec in 8 or 9 the building in the back gets some pop up) but these are the things they fix in the last month.

I did notice something: The blurry pics we see are due to the lighting effect at times. It is not always like that, especially when they were playing with the lighting and demoing the HDR (which is really hot btw, especially when they come out from the tunnel), but when the bloom is on the cars seems to "fade" and theere are glare spots.

Now it looks hoooot in motion because as you turn angles and time goes by the detail fades back in -- but in screenshots you REALLY are let down.

This gen screenshots may be VERY deceptive.
