New Killzone screen grabs

Still whinging about the AI I see. The AI is great in the latest build, those videos with the shit AI are from a September 2003 build of the game. The April build is primed and ready to blow at E3. :p

Care to elaborate? Played the game and the enemies are pretty smart

finished it 2 hours ago ,and no .
The enemy are pretty stoopid .Many times i had to knock onto their shoulder to get them to look at me... (in Normal mode,so maybe...)
Some other very stoopid behavior happened also.
But the very bad french voice acting fitted very well with that.

  What? i can't even walk 20 meters away that they start shooting at me!!! I must have clicked on VETERAN by mistake when starting my game... I'm finding it VERY VERY bloody hard to get through some points, or ANY points really  I'm so stupid...

I believe it's been said more than once these videos are from development builds where the AI isn't fully enabled. Jesus, some of the soldiers don't even react when shot, you'd think the game would actually have enemies in it that act like that? ;)

There's been many a PS2 title released with worse AI that the video shows :)

This brings up a good point though...why do devs let the marketing ' bods ' ! ( ahem ) release videos that contain iffy code ? First impressions last and all that..... :)

I realise its not finished and probably has another 3-6months in development left, but iffy videos dont help its image one little bit.

I'm playing it on easy (I think, or normal..) and even then it is pretty hard at places. Though, sometimes they just act stupid, like sneak right in front of me as if they didn't see me even if I stood just a few meters from them. Only when I start to shoot them they wake up and start shooting at me.

Or maybe it's just that I really wouldn't wanna kill those soldiers, maybe it'll become easier for me when there are those mutant monsters as enemies.

The first two voice actors confirmed for Killzone are Rutger Hauer of Blade Runner fame, and Sean Pertwee of Dog Soldiers and Primal (PS2 game - voice of Jared) fame.

Good 'ol Rutger!

They should sign on Donald Sutherland too, and why not Gary Busey? They both have great voices... And if they can afford him, Kurt Russell.

We need some chicks too. Suggestions...?

Chicks with good voices by the way, not big boobs, so for f*cks sake don't say Pamela Anderson. ;)

It's a game about a war, not chicks...

Yep, I doubt there will be any 'chicks' on the game.
Unless thy have to put some sexy scientist in it for marketing purposes.

If there were a chick in the game, a good voice would be the actress that plays in Frasier, and was a voice for one of the charactrers in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within movie (I don't remember any of their names, sorry)

 That's a rather sexist remark, don't you think? Implying women can't kill? Maybe you should tell that to Calamity Jane and the like. ;)

Seriously though, there could well be many legitimate reasons for female characters even in a war game. Don't be so narrow-minded.
