Qroach said:Great, some nice new "adult" games exclusive to GameCube, that should help stave off the kiddy image Hopefully a couple of them will turn into big Capcom franchises.
Now this comment cracks me up. Perhaps you can explain what makes these "adult" games Teasy? All that arguing about how Nintendo isn't kiddy, and you go and call it that.
I actually meant what I said in the thread your refering to, I didn't post it just to try to annoy you. I would have thought that a mod would be above trolling.
[/url]but their GC exclusivity may not be a sure thing. Mikami stated that of the five, only RE4 will be exclusive to Nintendo's machine, with the fate of the other four still up in the air. All dates are tentative -- and relate to Japanese releases, only. More as it comes." -Gamers.com Article
Earlier today at a press conference in Japan, Capcom Entertainment unveiled five brand new and totally exclusive GameCube titles. The games, which range from the long awaited Resident Evil 4 to a spectacularly dark, cool original game by Shinji Mikami called Product Number 03 (or P.N.03), all look amazing. They also come courtesy of Capcom's "Production Studio 4," which was formed in October 1999 and now seems devoted to creating GameCube software. With famed Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami running the show as general manager, there's a lot to be excited about. Talking about the studio's talents, one of the director's commented that the Production Studio 4 has a knack for "elaborate and detailed visuals." Sounds promising. We'll have more information on these games soon, but in the meantime here are the basics.

Besides that, the capcom website sure fooled me into thinking that they all were exclusives when the first two quotes were:
"For the sound growth of the gaming industry."
"For Gamecube."
And that there was no mention of anyother console besides gamecube which they practically pasted all over the webpages.
and even if it did come to other consoles later, its still exclusive right? I mean, it hasnt stopped these guys from referring to Splinter Cell that way.

Capcom Exclusivity
I was just wondering if these five new Capcom titles are totally exclusice or just limited exclusive for a few months?
Fran IGN responds: Resident Evil 4 is absolutely exclusive. It seems that the rest are as too, but Capcom hasn't exactly revealed any details about that. What we do know is they say these games are "For GameCube." For now, we'd prefer to see the glass as half full.
