Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes

My takeaway from those videos is that MGS5 is a damn good looking PS3/360 game basically.

YEah, maybe buying the cheaper GZ on PS3(PSN) won't be that big an issue and going next -gen for the full game will still provide the necessary WOW ! ;)

EDIT: after watching the comparison video, one can't help but get the next-gen version. Thelack of pixels and aliasing is an eye sore on last gen. But one has to say, this seems like the best looking game on PS360. Fox Engine did deliver finall y.
LOL, so the next-gen sky is only on the ps4 while X1 stays last-gen :p !

Hope they drop the PSN(ps4) version to $20 now, I will buy it day 1. Otherwise I may go for the ps3(PSN) version, but I don't really want to.

Also, I quote, "a DLC will only be available in the first batch of the retail version and for a limited period of time for the digital version".

To be more precise:

"Those who buy Ground Zeroes early on get exclusive DLC for use in The Phantom Pain. The DLC will only be available in the first batch of the retail version and for a limited period of time for the digital version, Konami said."

The DLC is for Phantom Pain. I am guessing some kindof trivial skin in the lines of 'i have already played GZ'. Maybe for th eonline portion of Phantom Pain,

...or it can be something as awesome as having Gray Fox to be present in TPP motherbase, with one or two special missions that he will bring.

NDA gates have opened for MGS:GZ previews, game looks hot!

Biggest takeways from Gamespot:
Rumor: Ground Zeroes is a glorified $30 demo.
Reality: Ground Zeroes is a $30 game.

Rumor: Ground Zeroes is two hours long.
Reality: Ground Zeroes has over ten hours of content.

Rumor: Ground Zeroes is easier with the slow-motion stealth mechanic.
Reality: Ground Zeroes is just as difficult with the slow-motion stealth mechanic.

Rumor: Ground Zeroes is an open-world game.
Reality: Ground Zeroes is not an open-world game.

That nighttime shot is sublime.

Why is no shadow projecting behind from the light in front?

Because there are also lights behind him?
Wouldn't that result in multiple shadows? But his back does seem to be evenly lot and the shadow is off to the right!?!

Edit: and the fence is casting shadows in another direction!?! :???:

The distant light source appears to be a flood light rather than a spot light, therefore it doesn't appear to be strong enough and the closer light source behind him is overpowering it.
