Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes

The PS4 version has atmosphere simulation.

Extra processing power for the skies I guess.

On closer look the sky does look more realistic in the PS4 version than all the clouds.

We might have the PS4 doing real time weather while the other versions using simplified versions.

downloading the file and playing it in 60fps also made a big difference.

Yeah i'm looking at the actual video through a player and the Xbox One version looks alarmingly similar to the last gen versions....the jaggies are the most apparent thing, they're basically everywhere in the scene during the day time running scene, and during snakes closeup with his binoculars at night, the scene is very noticeably blurry on the other formats compared to the PS4 version. Take a look at his hair, you can see the individual strands on PS4 whereas the other formats dissolve into a mess of color.

I guess Kojima is just doing what every other dev are doing this gen to avoid pissing off Microsoft : They're being diplomatic. Seriously we all know the truth, i don't think the devs think they are fooling anybody either. They come out against it halfheartedly just so they can give Microsoft to say "we're saying something in your defense"

LOD problem and really a lot of aliasing (10mbits video has softened edges, but still it is visible)

I cant wait to play this on PS4... Such a shame TPP is so far away. By all accounts that game will be massive and awesome.

A lot of aliasing? Where? on a thin wire? PS4 should have better AA potentially but that isn't visible from this compressed video/images.

I can't see LOD problem either!

The difference in AA is very noticeable even with this video. I don't know if thats the resolution doing it or what..

The LOD problem is the wire. The wire pops in and out in XB1 version with respect to zooming in or not.
