Hehe i just saw that tool. It's pretty much exactly what I prodicted hours ago. *dances*
Skype is a free Voice-over-IP service. I'm more inclined to believe this Major Nelson article as it makes more sense tied in with everything else we've heard over the months!

Making it all the more fishy is the fact that it not only words the price in the way you say, but also does not give out a key peace of info that is not known for sure, the release date. If these guys had any clue what they were talking about they would give the release date too...

Why would a respected newspaper put such a rumour if it wasn't send to them as an official PR? Especially this close to the Leipzig conference where there would be some real news anyway. There's no need just to fill in some "news void".

Please how many wrong articles are posted a day . I remember at the new york times (or one of the new york papers) there was a huge scandle 2 years ago. How about that tv station that had proof of bush skipping out on his national guard dutys and it turned out the proof was printed on printers that were not developed back in the era .
Besides at 2am est when it was posted it would be only 11pm in la. Which would put it almost half a day earlier than the announcment .
Whats also wierd is that none of the big ms guys are at this confrense . Allard hurt himself (Broke an arm and ribs) and the other 2 aren't there.
Doesn't make sense to put out a wired accessory controller, if the wireless were to come as a standard and you can wire the wireless controller anyway with a accessory wire.

Who really would buy the wired controller? Ok, the demo pods maybe have a sturdy wire in controllers, or just a wireless attached to the demo pod and it also charges there constantly.
