KILLZONE PS3 IN-GAME FOOTAGE SHOCKER
CVG Online - 3 hours ago
The world demanded gameplay footage and, thanks to TGS, we have it! Actual Killzone in-game PS3 footage inside. 12:08 Sony's PS3 ... -Google News
This is currently a dead link. Did anybody happen to view the article when it went up this morning? And did anybody hear about Killzone in-game footage being shown at TGS?

Probably a waste of a thread, but curiousity got the better of me. :???:

I'm sure everyone was waiting for that. And i'm sure this will open up another 83 threads on whether this new footage is actually realtime, a realtime cutscene, or a comic book scan.

It's CVG, so it's more than likely either a joke, or completely made up by their staff.

Remember this:

CVG claimed that a press conference took place, in which Hideo Kojima said the full version of MGS2 would be PlayStation 2 exclusive, and the Xbox version would be a mix of the original and the sequel. A Konami spokesman proved that story completely wrong with the following statement: "I can confirm that it is a total and complete lie. There was no press conference and their report is completely false".

I deleted my link to CnVG this morning before reading that. It's a crap site. It's invariably late on news, has a diabolical style, and very intensive adverts including an invasive...Splinter Cell I think...advert which changes all the text in the page to 'Splinter Cell Splinter Cell Splinter Cell'. Not only is that an annoying advert but it doesn't work 'coz I'm not sure what it was advertising!

My first thought on seeing that it was a dead link is that they probably realized or were informed that they were mistaking the MGS4 footage for Killzone. But I was still hoping someone here had seen the footage before it was pulled, just for verification.

If you look at the comments section for the article someone did download the video and it was for the first Killzone for the PS2 which is slated to be released in Japan sometime this year.

It has nothing to do with PS3.

Well i'm sure that if anything regarding Killzone on PS3 was shown or even spoke about, we'd know from other sites and their mothers.

They could have mentioned or shown the next Killzone for PS2 though.

They probably showed the exact same video clip that they had at E3, which would explain why nobody cared.

Which clip? The infamous Killzone clip? I don't know why Gorilla would show a clip thats already been out, talked about and speculated to death. Dizzyd is probably correct with is assesment...

They would show the same clip for the same reason MS showed the same PGR3 clip there; many people at TGS weren't at E3 and haven't seen it.

As for Dizzyd's comment, he is probably right in regards to the CVG article, but Killzone for the PS3 was shown i some form at TGS. (See HappyBread's link)
