Pretty much as last week - some minor growth across the board pretty much, PSP numbers are down slightly but it looks like another static week in Japan really

Slightly OT: This thread's title should probably read: Wii/NDS weekly sales chart (And the amazing plight of all others) :LOL:

I am curious as to how/if Nintendo has been able to shake the "Kiddy" image in Japan. And if that allows them to maintain such high numbers?
 
I dont know, did nintendo ever had a ''kiddy'' image to begin with in Japan? If you look at what sells in Japan (not only games) cuteness and ''kiddyness'' seem to be what actually makes something sell instead of blood and gore wich is a bit more related to the west.

I never understood why people play hentai games. Why would you want to spend time and effort to see some porn? Better give me what I want right away ;P

Nintendo sold 251,794 of its newest game machines in May, outselling Sony's PlayStation 3 consoles five to one, Tokyo- based research firm Enterbrain Inc. said today in a faxed statement. The PS3 trailed the Wii by four to one in April.
