Basically every time someone from Square Enix lets half a screenshot out into the wild, someone asks what the resolution is. And every time, it's 1080p.Didn't someone already confirm it's native 1080p in previous screenshots?

Neat math. What game?
1552*1080*20Bpp ~31.97MB
20Bpp = 2x FP16 (2x 8Bpp) + 4Bpp Depth
1552 integer divisible by 16
1552/1920= 97/120
------------
16/16/16/16
16/16/16/16

Depends on when you need them there I guess.Seems like such a missed opportunity using esram as only a back buffer holder no?
Finally the very first REAL Episode Duscae footage AFTER tabata said they didn't make it to 1080p:

Here's the challenge: what resolution is the ps4 running at? (Ps4 version latest build confirmed, look at the buttons)
A bunch of ok quality FFXV shots, look blurry and low res, I'd say 900p at best.

During the Active Time Report Page 4.0 broadcast, Game Director Hajime Tabata mentioned that the Final Fantasy XV demo Episode Duscae won’t quite reach full 1080p/30 Frames per second.
While he did not give further specific, he also clarified that the 1080p/30 FPS resolution and frame rate combo remains the target for the full game, and the team will continue working hard to achieve that goal.
