Ign Hands On Lost Planet And Dead Rising

I don't know what to think of this any more, it could be great or just another hack and slash. It has better not be anything like Dynasty Warriors because if it is I will be very disappointed.

Lost Planet looks really cool and interesting. Something new if they fuse the gameplay elements together right.
Dead Rising looks fun but shallow, and the graphics are extremely off-putting (in those pictures - the earlier ones looked pretty good I though).

According to all playtests, tne game looks better than it ever has. The screens were released seperately by Capcom and they look like crap, it's wierd. The trailer on XBLive looks great though.

Motion Blur > HDR lighting?

First of all DR is pure madness in a good way!

Second LP, looks very nice.

Anybody noticed Capcom is using motion blurr in the animations? It looks pretty cool and not overused. I really like the animations for the boss characters in LP, it's very sylistic and kinda CGIish.

thanks for the photos Mck

but let me tell you.... those images are a 6.75 compared to the 720p HDTV Live trailer at a 9.8 :p

the real thing looks better than Blim Blim's download too, :) especially the lighting

Well I don't have a 360, but thanks for letting me know. I wish I could see the real '720p' quality version.

BlimBlim uses more compression too, the Live version is about 24MB bigger...

The original will probably be released on the net though.

Would the original be the one that's on the IGN website?

Ah. Well, marketplace trailers come in two flavours: 720p or 480p. In this case the 480p version is almost 11MB.

I'm not sure if they use the normal WMP codec for the X360 though...
