I won right to buy the PS4 20th Anniversary Edition, What should i do with it?

Keep it intact (mint) in your family as a collector object. Never sell it or you will regret it, in a way or another... see what Nesh wrote.
 
Took me a google to work out what you're on about I was thinking you won a ps4 on the 20th?

from the pictures the grey/silver color looks a lot better than the black
judging by ebay its worth at least $1200 US minimum, I'ld prolly get rid of it quickly
reason: most of these will find their way into hands of collectors and won't get used, thus in 5-30 years time, of the 12300 made there will prolly still be >12,000
 
Can you elaborate again the logic why he should sell it quickly? Your comment tells me the opposite :p

If I understood him correctly, he's basing it on the fact that console's value is at its highest point right now upon release. These are all going to be collector's items, none of them will be played, so their rarity will never increase.

Everybody who really wants to have one will be buying one right now.

Actually, there are were only 12,300 units allocated worldwide. This item is truly rare and will be a highly desirable collectible for video game enthusiasts.

crap, i just re-read the email and they mentioned i need to reply with my home-address before 29 dec for getting the PS Limited Premium Items. Seriously SONY, why put that on far below, near the fine print. Agh... The agent that called me also never asks for address. They simply ask what is my City, my city have no Sony Store, and tell me that the payment and PS4 will be available on nearest Sony Service Center or Partner in January.

guys, all of you have awesome english. can you read this and tell me.. am i correct to think that to get the PS4 20th anniversary edition i need to wait for Jan 2014 to make payment to SONY, no need to do anything else? (i already late for the limited premiums right?)

Yes. You needed to reply with your address by the 29th to receive the Anniversary Limited Premiums. These will be sent directly. For the PS4 purchase, you need to take a copy of the email and your ID document to one of those four stores. It's actually quite a lot of effort, especially if you don't live near any of those metropolises. That's actually weird logistics. Are they going to keep one PS4 20th AE in each store for each applicant? Surely you should choose the store up front and confirm it so the console is supplied to the right place?

What are the 20th Anniversary Limited Premiums? Also, you were first placed! Well done. What was your entry?

thanks :D that clears up my mind.

when they call me via phone 1-day before announcement on PS website, they said that the PS4 will be send to nearest service center sony. But they still not sure. It seems there's no good communication between Sony's divisions.

the 20th anniversary limited premiums are something like stickers, books, etc. they dont really mention what it is but from the very small thumbnail, it looks like that.

yes its not like say an original superman comic brought for 10c sold for a million, basically cause 99.999% of the original comics got thrown out, trashed. These will straight away find their way into collectors hands thus the initial rariety aint gonna decrease by much

The rarity wont increase but often collectors seek out more for particular objects as time passes than they used to, hence why their price increase.
This one already started as a rare item which is sought by more than the amount available and who are already willing to pay 5 times the normal amount.

The PS4 20th Anniversary Edition is DELAYED 3 months for my country :/

and Sony in my country basically just say "we're sorry, please be patient" in the official letter. I wonder... Do Sony Asia know about thus brouhaha.... O_O

1. the winners need to pay 200 dollar extra for it to Sony
2. It delayed 3 months
3. sony just say sorry and hope the winners can be patient.

4. i suspect the console will already Opened and USED by those guys at custom. Bah!
