Who said that? It is a part of our nature and shaped our culture as well. Nothing to do with that, I'm talking about being a grown-up personality.

Not about fighting either. Also, assholes do have SOME features of a manly man, but a really grown-up, manly man is not an asshole. An asshole denies the manliness, since a strong, healthy person will rarely ever become an asshole.

How have women, or feminists, taken any of those things away from us?

I've never understood why some men hate feminists so much, unless they're misogynists.

It's simple, really. Take one of the general statements of mainstream feminism in the '70s, "We don't need men."

Now, take that at face value. It could mean that women don't need men at all, and that men are useless. IMO, most people that have problems with feminism do exactly that. they're not looking at it a bit deeper, realizing that all it means is "A woman doesn't need a man per se."

The issue gets complicated when one realizes there's more than one strain of feminism, and at the same time there really are a few psychos in the feminist movement who believe that men are useless.

In the end, your average feminist would probably be better described as a "equalist", somebody who believes the genders should be socially considered equal.

Hating feminism doesn't make you a misogynists. I've know many women out there who doesn't like feminism..

Anyone who think that feminism is about equality is kidding themselves

Actually, I would say most of my female friends would be feminists, and the only thing they want is equality. There are some extreme feminists, but there are extremists in everything.

I nominate this thread to get moved to the religion/politics forum.

No need to look any further. You've found the perfect forum.

Not a woman in sight. It's a big sausage fest, here on the B3D general forums.

So let me guess, those "girly-man overly-nice-guy wussies" are spoiling our image, and cutting a long story short, you are worried for the continuation of the species.

I tend to think that being a man is about more than having a dick. Funny to see though that most males think that the greatest threat to their manhood is impotence.
"OMG I can't have a hard on, I'm not a reeaal maaan, uhh! *waves hand*"

    And so they depressed LOL

    Men don't get depressed.

Feminists are against nature, especially the women's nature. Might like to read this:

That's just a part of the text, but I think he pretty much nailed it.
