I've tried several times to complete L.A. Noire but I lose interest during the posting to Vice.

I haven't played any of the Witchers either.

Correct this error. Personal opinion: Don't jump straight into 3, start with 1 and 2, they shouldn't take too long to finish each. The whole journey is definitely worth it
