Hey! I'm not a very well known user but some of you may know that I was interested in acquiring a PS3 because I made some questions here in the fora. Thank God, I finally got one.
I got a Heavy Rain bundle and I bought two more games: Virtua Fighter 5 and Mirror's Edge.
I know that most of these games already have their own thread, but I will briefly comment on them, here.
Heavy Rain: I love this game, because of... almost everything (innovation, graphics, story...) but it also has its negative aspects. I will further comment on this game in its thread. I'm still playing it, so I don't know who's the origami killer (I'm suspecting of someone, though).
Virtua Fighter 5: I like this game because is more realistic than most fighting games but I still have to improve my gameplay (I couldn't pass the arcade mode, because Sarah kept kicking my ass, literally). It is plain difficult.
Its graphics are more beautiful in motion, but the lack of reflections of the characters in the water of the desert level disappointed me way too much. On the other hand, some other levels have accurate "character" reflections and even reflections in water. I suppose that the difference is because the water in the desert level is made up of real geometry, while the water in the city level is only a flat, wet floor.
Mirror's Edge: funny and innovative. On the tech side, this game is the kingdom of screen tearing. Screen tearing even in cartoon cutscenes. What the fart?!
I haven't created a PSN account, yet, because I've been quite busy, but I'm planning to create one in the following days.
