HW required for Apple platform(s) development

Resizing from all corners would be great, I definitely miss that on OS/X. I also prefer if windows have their own menus. However MS current situation is worse as menus are getting completely inconsistent from one applucation to the next.

The debugger is passable, but some of the impenetrable Cocoa containers reduce me to printf debugging a lot more often than I'd like.

Debugging Obj-C can be tricky, yes. One of the tools I like the most for code profiling is Instruments. Apple absolutely got it right when they ported Solaris' dtrace to MacOS X.

MacOS X does not use X, it uses Quartz. You can also start an X server on your Mac and run remote unix apps on it, but not the other way around.
What a major bummer! Politics, walled gardens, I pffft at you! Pfft!

Just a small tip: Do not approach MacOS X from a Windows user's point of view, you are going to be extremely frustrated.
This made me smile. The last time I booted Windows for more than a laugh was 2006.
