A-Rod is going to the New York Yankees.. what the hell?

Add $~20~M to this and you get their current payroll. It's sickening.

Including A-Rod, they have 10 players making $10M/year or more. That's insane. I mean, yeah.. my Boston Red Sox have the second biggest payroll (a comparatively measly $128M) but only 4 players make $10+M a year.

Ya, I'd not play for the rangers for 1/2 of what A-rod is taking.

The real stupidity of sports, the rangers will be effectively paying A-rod 140 million for 3 years of service in texas. The yankees will be paying him less total over 7 years.

BTW...even though we ultimately lost the series last year...beating you in that game 7 was one of the biggest baseball highs I've had. Thanks for that.
