Halo 5: Guardians [XO]

Yes sprint + crouch will slide. It works the same as Spartan charge. You must achieve the speed lines to be full sprint before you can hit slide.

Oh, that makes sense! I've haven't seen anyone else use it MP, so I thought they nixed it. Stability I accidentally found, but knew it was in as I saw other players executing it.

Last night my aim was all over the place. It almost felt like someone turned my sensitivity way up and had a lot of trouble putting the cross hairs on target on certain weapons.

With the qualifications almost done, my rankings ranged from Silver 1 (FREE FOR ALL) to Platinum 1 (SWAT) with gold on all the other modes in Arena.

So what are all the special Spartan ability moves? Is there a tutorial list or poster of moves somewhere?

Charge (sprint full speed + melee)
Ground Pound (jump in air + melee, HOLD and aim until it happens)
Slide (Sprint full speed + crouch)
Hover (Jump + aim)
Dash (dash button any direction)
Air dash (jump then in air, dash and controller stick any direction)
Air Charge ( full sprint, jump + tap melee). I've caught a couple people in the air like this.

Sounds like a pain in the butt to get. I'm not much of an achievement whore these days anyway. Someday I'll need to get to finding the skulls and intel. I'll probably need a guide to do it.

You can at least do the level on easy.

Same thing with finding of skulls except for 1 that requirss Legendary difficulty level. One of the skulls requires some platforming jumping, dashing, grappling or ground pounding to get to on Swords of Sangelios. I couldnt do the required jumping the first few times before I got annoyed enough to finish out the level.

The one that seems extra difficult is the Kill 2 Wardens at the same time achievement.

I've now beaten the game twice, once solo on heroic and once co-op on heroic. For the co-op run, trying legendary might have been better. It was a little easy, but still fun to play.

No issues with the the story, but I find it funny that Cortana is now evil, only because of the tie-in to Windows and Windows Phone. "Please buy our new phone. It comes with a virtual assistant that is named after an evil ai in Halo that attempts to enslave the universe."

Regarding that twist. I think things aren't as they seem and we will see a "Return" type reversal in Halo 6.

Finished the game on heroic. One of the best games this gen for me, although it has its flaws like the repeating boss fights!

What I really liked: the different weapons, with each of them being quite useful. The different enemy types with each having an own strategy to kill...throughout the missions you really start to learn and recognize your enemies.

Besides H1 and 2, my most favorite Halo I think...

Not yet! I plan to buy Gold after finishing Tomb Raider which I bought this week

Then coop together with my friend and I will definitively check out MP!

On legendary mode death is around every corner and every mob is a threat to your life. Play with friends, fantastic experience. Legendary ending is interesting :)

There are some levels that you will seriously need to think about how to solve after dying too many times lol.

Fun fact. If you complete the game on legendary coop, you get all the other achievements for lower levels and coop campaign achievement.

I'm on the first mission on Legendary solo. This is really going to be a long one if that is any indication.
Is anyone interested on running co-op Legendary from start to finish? Probably not in one sitting---maybe 3-4 missions at a time.

I am definitely interested in Legendary coop runs. Hopefully I can round up enough free time to do real gaming sessions.

Cool. Are afternoons or evenings better for you?
I'm on central time and good after 7pm and probably between 1pm to 4pm except Saturdays and this Sunday evening (Walking Dead is on).
