Price of entry is a good point, but one that seems to be lost on the GH crowd. I wonder how many PS2s were sold just to play this game. You figure roughly a US$200 investment gets you the game with a PS2. I doubt you'd see the same console-selling for the 360, given the extra $200 or so you'd need to spend, but 360 owners don't seem averse to high prices for a single game. This game also seems to demo super-well. In my local Best Buy, I always see the game being played, usually with a handful of people looking on (and they just installed a 360 version, so now I see both demos being used). Very impressive and well deserved, IMO.Price of entry is pretty high, though. I think it will sell very well, but part of the popularity of GH1&2 on the PS2 is in the low cost of the console, just like for Singstar or Buzz.
Anyway, got it last week (couldn't play this weekend because of family visit), and it's a blast to play, just like the first one. Presentation is excellent, and I like the selection of tracks.
