The 6800XT runs Cyperpunk 2077 at 23fps using 1440p Max RT settings, for comparison, an RTX 3080 is usually in the 40s at those settings.
Those are Medium RT tests, with Ultra RT NVIDIA cards are 80% faster.Well, that was difficult to navigate with my rusty german language. Here is the graph for for 1440p for those who are language limited. This game really requires dlss to go anywhere,...

Its a bloodbath. Would be academically interesting to see how both 1st gen RT attempts compare with each others (6900xt vs 2080ti).
I think at Medium settings there is only RT shadows and some RT lighting, no reflections. So the divergences makes sense. Those are Medium RT tests, with Ultra RT NVIDIA cards are 80% faster.
As you can see in the table above, you're looking at a pretty significant drop in performance from the Ultra preset to the Ray Tracing Medium preset in-game. There are no ray-traced reflections at this grade, only shadows and 'medium' lighting, but even so it's tough going for even the top RDNA 2 card.
No, just Ultra settings, Psycho is even more brutal. Was the psycho settings tested?
NVIDIA's lead varies from 60% to 80% on Ultra and that's without DLSS2. Psycho settings is even higher and more brutal. That's not as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe next gen things will get closer.
Yes, we know Mr Nvidia Marketing, we all know. Please go away.NVIDIA's lead varies from 60% to 80% on Ultra and that's without DLSS2. Psycho settings is even higher and more brutal
The 3090 is 88% faster than 6900XT @1440p and 92% faster @2160p! The 2080Ti is 10-15% faster as well. Again this is with the Ultra preset, Psycho preset is much harder.
Err, what? It's a lot closer to competitors $500 product than their $400 product, how on earth doesn't it have business costing over $400?45 game benchmark 6700XT vs 3070.
6700XT has no business costing over 400$. It's a complete reversal of the status quo of the last 8 years. You now have a much better chance of a notably better experience on the Nvidia GPU, when not CPU limited.
