I would get this day 1 if the MP was ala gears 1+3... also priced right too.
Well, the information about the game has been apparently leaked in a Russian web already.MP horde modes ala Gears 2+3 is a must. Bonus if they have Judgement's hordelike modes too, but classic horde is a must have.
Modernized gameplay with smoother movement and updated controls:
- Alternate Controls and all new Tournament Controls
- All controls tuned for Xbox One
- Adding the Gears of War 3 features you love: Enemy Spotting, Multiplayer Tac-Com, Improved sensitivity customization
17 unlockable Gears of War 3 characters for Multiplayer progression
Anisotropic filtering seems to be high in the first screenshot, but your expert input would be welcome.
yup, $60 for just one game, no way. But I am really surprised its only the first game. Gears 3 had awesome visuals, at 1080p they would rock ! And a trilogy makes sense as a collection, why would I buy just one game again? If it's $60, no go.
Anybody get into the beta? I've signed up. Hopefully hear something by tomorrow. Sign up here...

Gears 4 didn't impress me either. Man, how much mock the sweaty muscular marines have received because it was cliché and all, but Gears of War 1 made the cliche fun. Cole was fun, Marcus was fun, Baird was fun, everyone hated Carmine. The entire Alpha Squad was fun. Gears of War 1 -and only 1- appealed to core and casual fans alike.I honestly think this is a lot more appealing to the eye than Gears 4 at the moment. If it hadn't been for the monster in the Gears 4 trailer, the footage might as well have been from another one of these insufferably bland looking Army of Two games. The beefcake art style is fun, not to mention tons more memorable.
