Gamecube/GBA marketing?

Should Nintendo promote these 2 consoles together as a package instead of the current Hardware/software promotions they are currently pushing?

Whilst they currently offer money back for those who purchase both consoles seperately. The above package @ a similar price point would discount the Cube and would promote the NGC/GBA link more effectively. This would have a longer lasting feel good factor, than a game that has a finite shelf life. What do you think?

Whilst they're @ it they could also consider upgrading the cable they supply as standard to something more in keeping with the graphics ability of the CUBE. Composite output as standard when most entry level Graphics cards now have S-video as standard is pathetic. Most new TV's have this input available. RGB might be a stretch but when DVD players have the former available as standard the current Cube output is a disgrace.

I had hoped that some here would have responded.
Looks like Nintendo see conectivity as their saviour
as mentioned here http://www.computerandvideogames.com/r/?page=http://www.computerandvideogames.com/news/news_story.php(que)id=91007

Not quite what I had in mind( gone for cheaper option) but it's a start.

E3 2003: BUY A GAMECUBE, GET A FREE GAME BOY PLAYER!

Nintendo planning to bundle GBA adaptor widget with new Gamecubes

10:43 For a 'limited period', although we're not sure how limited, Nintendo is going to be chucking in a free Game Boy Player with every Gamecube it sells. The GB Player is a bit of hardware that plugs into the bottom of your 'Cube and lets you play Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games right there on your TV screen.

From June 20 European gamers will be able to pick up this new bundle for 200 Euros (£140), with Americans getting in on the act three days later for $150. Apparently this is all due to the enthusiastic reception the GB Player has been given at E3, so well done everyone there who looked excited as they walked past.
