Formula 1 - 2009 Season

Well... Maybe because they have been involved into F1 since day one, unlike any other team? The fact is, wheter or not you like it, that Ferrari is tied with F1 and F1 is tied with Ferrari.

Besides that they are also one of the bigger teams so its not weird for them to have a more important position even excluding their history with the sport. Its like saying how is FC Barcelona or any other big football club more important than some small club? That is obvious right? They are alot bigger so are alot more important.

Maybe we should reverse the question. How exactly do you think Ferrari is less, or as important than lets say Force India?

I don't think so and it is the general consensus of many non-tiffosi supporters of F1, including prominent figures like Berni Eccelstone, that Ferrari have a some what detremental effect on the sport.

I support Williams F1, but I also like Kimi and Button. I want to see less favouritism and more equality in my favourite motorsport. Saying Ferrari deserve more because they are Ferrari brings nothing to the argument. Please provide me with more insight into why you feel this way and you never know you might enlighten me.

Who do you support Dr Evil?

Mostly Kimi, wherever he drives and Hakkinen before him. I respect Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Vettel, Nico and some others as I feel they are good drivers. You know I do think that sometimes decisions have went Ferrari's way, but not nearly always. McLaren has had its share of decisions going their way over the years also.

You might want to ask yourself why Bernie want's to pay extra to Ferrari and why all the other teams immediately gave up on making their own racing series when Ferrari pulled out? Ask yourself and maybe you'll find the right answer.

I personally think there is way too much equality in the F1 these days, but I'm talking about restricting engine development etc. Now even Mclaren can do reliable engines, when manufacturers aren't allowed to push the envelope. It used to be fun to see the advancements in techonology, power and speed. Nowadays the serie might be more even, but yet boring and it reminds me of castrated men trying to make babies...

What? You can't be serious. There's a lot of unpredictability now, perfect time to watch!

I'm not sour, I only delight in Ferrari's misery!

Singapore was fantastic, but I felt for Massa how Ferrari ruined his race and championship. That traffic light system was dumb, saved three hundreds when it worked and ruined championships when it didn't.

Oh but I also delight in Alonso and Renault doing well, and I always like to see an underdog do well (Vettel at Monza, Sato overtaking Alonso last year, Kubica winning etc).

In a week, Ferrari will launch their new car and they have said they are on course to use their pit stop light system this season after tweaking it a bit.

Maybe they realise that a bit of humour does wonders and are willing to throw away points for our amusement.

Honda tested a similar system last year, maybe they will use it if they get rescued.

They should put some light animations on it too than.
