First SEGA Patents Controller, Now They Patent Memory Card.

If Vision PMP is testing the market then the result of that test must surely be that nobody wants another SEGA handheld?

People that have one in their possession are extremely happy with it -

Infact SEGA have themselves stated that they may release an updated model with touchscreen and digital tv tuner.

Ah, right. That's a sensible business proposition if ever I saw one. :yep:

"Are we making any money off this?"
"Nope."
"Well, the few people who bought one seem to like it, so let's soend millions developing a sequel."

As ever, you utterly ignore the business sense to all your rumour-mongery. SEGA hardly have the best software at the moment. How on earth are they going to support hardware and make money in this market in this climate? That's not a rhetorical question, but you'll ignore it all the same.

SEGA made a Java/Flash portable media player so they're going to make a handheld based on laptop technology (!) with 5.1 surround sound (!!) and TEXAN* reckons "there might be some truth to it".

You couldn't make it up.

Actually you could. You'd then put it on FGN, and then pretend it's actually real or that there's "some truth to it" here.

TEXAN* - we didn't buy the imaginery Model 4 board, we aren't buying the laptop/handheld, and clearly FGN has no insider sources, just a plentiful supply of powerful narcotics, an obsession with SEGA and a Beyond3D account.

Guys I deleted the off-topic posts here; in-thread is not the place to have those conversations
