    The Gamespot HD video is 1920x1080. For the first time my A64 3700+ was chuggng when trying to play it.

    Runs buttery smooth on my system (Opteron 165 dual core oc'd to 2.46GHz.. 50% utilization on both cores, 50% total CPU utilization) :smile:

    Chugged with WMP10 but played much better using BS Player and buttery smooth with Media Center.

    bah, the 640x360 video looks clear enough. :p the 1080p version isn't worth the bandwidth imo.

    That amount of CPU utilization is pretty bad considering you have a top of the line graphics processor with native video decoding support, no?

    I wonder if theres any chance the MP will get closer those SP shots as development continues, SP looks fantastic.

    2 different engines from what I understand... But I really like Muliplayer aswell (but for different reasons). If you check out the desert and that rainy stage those are all from multiplayer and look excellent...

    Sony will be trying to hit this target render, though..

    Man that's impressive.

    But the sand textures alone, I dont think would ever dream of fitting in 512 MB..even if the rest of the system was up to snuff..
