That first pic looks like a very plausible profile shot from the side. That being said, I'm not sure what I think about that consoles ability to integrate itself with other electronics in the room.

I was refering to the more shining clear line in the begining of the top mushroom that clearly does not belong to the photo, its shape is similar to the bottom-base part from the first pic.

I think honestly that's just a logo place-holder.

It's not the whole button that lights up, only the perimeter of the circle. Like in current xbox power button, only this glows orange.

jvd, you meant turning the controller on and off? I was thinking about the system.

Well i don't see a wire ANd i don't want to drain my batterys with it allways on even when not in use

Given MS's push for Xbox Live and voice chat, I think a context sensitive button on the pad that could primarily be used to turn voice chat/webcam on/off might be a good idea. Maybe it's something like that. But probably not.
