Apart from SC, DoA2 was a stunner....PS2 fighters do not look better.

Is this true? Do Tekken 4, Soul Calibur 2 and Virtua Fighter 4 Evo not look better than SC and DOA2 on the Dreamcast?

What I essentially meant was that as far as fighter genre is concerned, PS2 games were were only slightly better visually, whereas in other genres for example MGS2/SH2-3/GT3 etc PS2 games were really a generation ahead (visually) of similar genre DC games.

Grandia 2... I love that game.
Best RPG ever :)

I could buy a Dreamcast just for it :)

Thank you for clarifying that point.

Jet Set Radio is the game that stands out from this generation most completely
I think Rez takes that cake. But yeah, again it's a Sega game... They have some pretty damn creative people. I can't wait to see what Mizuguchi comes up with next on PSP or DS, or whatever he chooses to work on next.

Nothing like playing shenmue , sonic adventure , soul caliber and grandia 2 on my computer monitor . Never seen graphics like that before on a home system .

Despite whatever you say JSR is IMO the game that still looks as good as it looked back when it was released.
Exceptuating the SF III and some of the 2D stuff, I think that all the 3D stuff has some or other flaw.
But anyways here comes my ranking:

JSR
SC
SA2

Did he left after the Sammy buyout ??

That is what I remember.

Shenmue series(playing it right now for the 3rd time :) )
SC
DOA2
JSRF
Ikaruga
F355C
TDLM
SA2(unbelievable textures)

And for some reason I also like Fighting Vipers 2 and Blue Stinger.

They are what I think is the best on DC gfx wise.

No before that, some 6 months ago. Was because of internal re-organisation. (UGA fused with Sega Rosso?)

Sonic Adventure 1&2
Crazy Taxi
Shenmue
Skies of Arcadia
Grandia 2
Metropolis Street Racer
Phantasy Star Online
Test Drive: LeMans
Jet Set Radio
