You can go to all the effort of getting it calibrated, but persoanlly I just stick up a photo and tweak it until it looks good. I have a very similar TV to that, if not the same. One thing I have noticed though is really lousy response and smearing across middle-intensity images. Ghosting is horrific in films. Not an issue in games though.
