its 1080 - 2160 but on avarage 1728pDynamic resolution (1740p - 2160p) is definitely a good choice on keeping up high frame-rates.
hm... so VRS Tier 2 netted them 5-12% savings.
hm... not quite a perfect 60fps. odd. Seems to be a bug between streaming and low latency optimizations? There's a fix in the works.
I think if we are to embrace the reality that everyone agrees native 4K is a waste. Crank it up and keep it dynamic as possible. That's really the best of both worlds here.
I'll take some reduction in quality for things like frame rate, or better visuals.native 4k isn't a waste . I know people love DLSS but it does introduce artifacts in some games like death stranding.

I like 4K, but I'm more than willing to trade some off to ensure that the game design is not impacted and to gain some visual quality as well.
the point is that you can better utilize gpu power than just targeting 4k (for example 1440p ue5 demo looks better than all 4k native games available now)4k is better visuals so i don't understand that point

Also because it allows future hardware to stretch its legs without extra work from the devs.I think if we are to embrace the reality that everyone agrees native 4K is a waste. Crank it up and keep it dynamic as possible. That's really the best of both worlds here.
It is also doing quite a bit more than standard ultra spec on pc....An average dynamic res of 1728p and additional performance savings from VRS make more sense in performance terms vs the 2080/2080Ti now.
Think of it like you can get a better gain elsewhere...it’s not different to having restricted finances and choosing carefully where to spend your money. Resolution is the ultimate diminishing returns.4k is better visuals so i don't understand that point
What is going on..
IMO, AF would be a better trade-off for general clarity.4k is better visuals so i don't understand that point
