We're days away from 2025.. when is Nvidia going to give me the ability to set desktop resolution(DSR) and refresh rate on a game by game basis in their driver profiles?

I used RTSS frame rate cap to set a per game cap that was always within my monitors VRR window.
It worked well and was the only way I could set individual frame rates per game.
Not frame rate. Refresh rate.
I don't understand your issue, most people now just set it at max in desktop and then cap it.
You're still thinking about frame rate. We're talking about monitor refresh rate.
In some games when you choose a DSR resolution the refresh rate is capped at 60Hz.
In the game ?Many games require desktop res to be set
Not possible because the higher resolutions aren't exposed in the game until the desktop res is set.In the game ?
Can you not make a custom resolution using CRU to bypass it?
So you dont set your desktop resolution in the game - your reply isnt clearNot possible because the higher resolutions aren't exposed in the game until the desktop res is set.
The absense of any RT effects makes the load more easy on the consoles.
Doesn't show the framerate in the city, but still, strangely, it seems very well optimized.
Doesn't this have software ray tracing, similar to software lumen? (Not sure, but it looks like it to me).The absense of any RT effects makes the load more easy on the consoles.
No, no RT effects that can use hardware:Doesn't this have software ray tracing, similar to software lumen? (Not sure, but it looks like it to me).
There is no ray tracing in KCD2. We use a different global illumination technique called voxel cone tracing.
