And Shifty is checking out Topatoi. I almost bought that game yesterday, but decided to give Critter Crunch a go first.
Yep, decided to go for it. Pretty good so far, I think I got my money's worth already. It's extremely smooth and well presented. Sound is forgettable and it's a shame they didn't bother to include the XMB music, screenshot or Youtube features, but the graphics crisp, colorful and at times outright beautiful and the controls are excellent. At times I'm now thinking what an HD remake of Rainbow Islands could look like (some bits of the art are a tad 'derivative', but done very, very well)
I thought that was because those games mostly didn't fully redraw all the animations (which is a tonne of work) but just the environments.
Thanks deep for the versus training.
Man, I just keep getting slaughtered online. I've tried and tried, but I just can't win a match to save my life, lol. I always seem to win out with bigger chains and more points, but in the end I still lose overall.
This makes me a very sad panda
So that's like +3 sales because of this thread? Awesome stuff guy's I'm sure the developer will appreciate it! Pass on the word so we see more of this kind of great stuff.

I think I heard it for SFII HD Remix and then later with KOFXIII, don't recall hearing anything about this from the BlazeBlue team though.
Anyone know of any other sprite driven 2D games in HD on PS3/360?
Good games Eyes!
Well they where a little bit better for you than me, since you beat me 6 out of 7 times or something to that effect Great fun!
So should we do a b3d cc tourney, we can arrange it through the b3d chat channel and we just use a best out of 5 match between the players. And then the winner advances to the next round, we could do a random draw to setup the matches or we could do seeding based on a players versus rank.
I could probably whip together some sort of web page and bla bla if people are interested
Am I the only one who has struggled with some of the Puzzles? Sheesh, puzzle games shouldn't be so puzzling.
Haven't tried online yet - but am intrigued. I'd be interested in anything arranged.
Cheers.
