The data's from GAF, where K+L (plus various other words like Gamespot, CNet, etc) are now "banned", like the "f-boy" word is here. Gerstmanngate and all that

Apparently that's not the new Forza + VP bundle, since MS-packed bundles don't count. Store bundles however do count. Shocking to see it back in, but I guess stores begin to create their own Forza + VP bundles to clear stock.

Yeah, I've just heard that Media Markt here seems to sell Premiums in Forza2/VP bundles that have been manufactured in 04-2006... probably not MS bundles there...

This Christmas is going to be very interesting. At least over here, Sony have really kicked their advertising into high gear.
Heck, there was even a wii ad on TV, which would be the second time I've seen one (ever). Not that it needs it...

NZ's biggest game webstore currently has the following sales rankings:
Wii console: #4 overall,
360 console: #77 (prem), #832 (halo3)
PS3 console: #1091

Looks like microsoft is making their push
There is only one (big) company selling the 360 arcade in NZ. And it's just hit $400nz. The Wii is still $500, the PS3 is $800.

Those numbers are derived from the German Media Control, which claims to cover 60% of the retail channel, by Sony.

That's what I thought the point was. "We've very nearly sold as many as the second place Wii in Austria! Woohoo!" I'm sure the stockholders would lap that up. Better yet, I'm sure if Sony dig deep enough they'll find a town somewhere that has PS3 as the number one selling system.

360 has been out longer and Wii is almost half the price.

Both 360 and Wii have been out longer, and the figures were given in an interview with Uwe Bassendowski head of SCE Austria, so it's not as if it was SCEE boasting or anything, just SCE Austria answering a question in an interview.
