bloodbob,
I really can't understand your point. There's only 1 preview on HL2 with 3 cards. The 6800U is 2 to 5 (4.4 ) faster, 2 for the 9800 XT 4.4 for the 5950U, that are FACTS.
Now if you want me to discuss your points why not.
Happy? :?

Sure but he is talking of 2 products that are in the preview. Those 2 products are previous/present best product on the market. The 6800 is 2-5 times faster than those 2 products. I don't see how you can't cope with that.bloodbob said:Well if you say competiting products aren't all the products competiting and at no point in time is it 100 times faster then all the competiting products.
If it has the MS approval, yes i would say so. That doesn't mean i would buy it or that i think it's playable in DX9 mode or anything else. But it is a DX9 product till the company who develops DX9 (ie MS) says so.Its like if I said my hardware was DX9.0 compatible because it can do VS2.0 and PS2.0 but it can only do VS2.0 or PS2.0 on a single frame it can't do both with hardware acceleration.
Now would you still call that DX9.0 compatible?
I don't see where you want to go?Or better yet why don't we start doing demos we record the max fps in the entire demo for card A and record the minium fps on the card B.
No, buti can say that the maximum FPS from one card is 10 times faster than the minimum FPS of the other. Now all the way through the demo Card B is twice as fast as card and only ever drops to 10.0 fps and of course Card A is at 5.0 fps. The max speed for Card B is say 200 fps at some point and Card A got a max of 100 fps.
Is card A 10 times faster then Card B in that demo?
